ABHIVURDHI, meaning development and progress, was founded in May 2022 by a passionate group of development practitioners united by a shared belief that every family, child, and young person deserves the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive through their own strengths. Registered as a national non-governmental organization (L-189412) with the National Secretariat for Non-Governmental Organizations, we bring together communities, local organizations, and institutions across Sri Lanka, harnessing local innovation and investing in the next generation to create lasting change.
